ZA/UM has scheduled the launch of Zero Parades: Director’s Cut on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 for November 3 2026. The Switch build will use Joy‑Con 2 mouse controls, touchscreen input, and HD Rumble 2, while the PS5 version will rely on the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, speaker, 3D audio and a 4K presentation.
New content and modes
The Director’s Cut adds a new dramatic encounter called the Quisach Roundabout, where Hershel and Ramses must escape a hijacked tuk‑tuk while under a drug high. Backstage Mode lets players explore earlier iterations of selected levels, hear cut content and technical explanations from art director Kaspar Tamsalu. The update also brings about 40,000 words of new writing, new outfits, a completed and revised English voice‑over, and quality‑of‑life improvements such as ultrawide support and a new photosensitivity mode. Existing PC owners receive the upgrade for free.
Gameplay remains centered on skill checks that influence conversations and paths. Dramatic encounters use a Tactical View that pauses time, and dice rolls can open alternative outcomes. The Conditioning system allows players to reinforce Hershel’s thoughts to change her identity and unlock options, while the Pressures system tracks Fatigue, Anxiety and Delirium, letting players expend these resources for higher dice rolls at the risk of escalating strain.
