Xbox Announces Compact Nano Controller for $49.99

Xbox has announced the Xbox Nano controller, a pocket‑sized gaming device that will be available for $49.99 and launch on November 4.

Measuring just over five inches long and weighing 3.5 ounces, the Nano can slip into a hoodie pocket. It includes a rechargeable battery, an Action Button for shortcuts, supports wireless and Bluetooth, and carries all 18 standard gameplay inputs. Its design has a slight resemblance to the 8BitDo Pro 3.

The controller is compatible with Xbox consoles, PC, iOS, Android, and select smart TVs, allowing cross‑platform use.

Pre‑orders are now open on Xbox.com, with the Nano slated to ship in November to a wide array of territories, including the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The price may vary by region. In the United States, a holiday promotion partners with Meta to offer the Nano controller and a two‑month Game Pass Ultimate subscription to new members who purchase a Quest headset. The release also coincides with changes to Xbox Cloud Gaming, where Game Pass hours will be capped.
