Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV is set for a PC launch on December 3, 2026. Publisher Deep Silver and developer King Art Games just shared a new video showing how Space Marines fight. This final deep dive focuses on two specific chapters from the larger army list.

Playing as Space Marines means balancing careful growth with fast attacks. You will often have fewer troops than the enemy alien forces you face. Victory depends on good positioning and moving your units in smart ways during battle.

The Blood Ravens chapter focuses on hidden movements and quiet observation. These warriors sneak behind enemy lines to learn weaknesses before fighting begins. They prefer precision strikes over loud clashes with large groups of soldiers.

Conversely, the Dark Angels move forward with heavy armor and strong guns. Their tactic involves charging directly into the fight using concentrated fire power. This approach requires robust protection to survive head-on assaults in the heat of war.

Captain Cyrus leads the Blood Ravens with a focus on stealth and shooting skill. He uses well-timed air strikes to support his team during combat operations. His style relies on timing rather than brute strength during engagements.

Company Master Astoran commands the Dark Angels from the front lines of battle. He wears Terminator armor that can take heavy damage while his forces push forward. The faction uses Drop Pods and orbital strikes to reinforce attacks from above.

Owners of the Commander Edition can start playing three days before the public launch. This early access begins on November 30 for those who pre-order the game now. Both versions currently offer a discount if you buy them ahead of time.

Updates planned for the first year will include free content for all players. A previous mode called Crusade Mode is returning alongside new maps and missions. Players will also gain access to a Mission Editor for custom gameplay setups.

Two large story expansions are scheduled to continue the conflict on Kronus. These updates will introduce a brand new playable faction alongside the main campaigns. This plan shows developers intend to support the game well past the launch date.

Fans can watch the full cinematic trailer now to see the Space Marines in action. The game remains the primary strategy title for fans of the Warhammer setting coming next year. December 3rd marks the official start of this specific battle for Kronus control.
