On October 16, poncle released Vampire Survivors version 1.16.111, which fixed multiplayer sync, background music interruptions, weapon behavior, progression issues, achievement bugs, item drop rates, and late‑game frame drops, and also previewed the upcoming 1.17 update.

The public beta 1.17.108 already lets PC players try new content, including custom characters, a new stage, a relic, a playable character, a new weapon and its evolution, a Darkana, and other additions; it also introduces a major engine overhaul, changes to online play, and Steam Workshop support beginning with custom characters, encouraging more testers.

In addition, poncle has added the full Ode to Castlevania soundtrack to the game on Steam, a 48‑track collection priced at $2.24 for a limited time; the tracks, which include titles such as 'Vampire Killer' and 'Dracula’s Castle,' will remain available until the licensing agreement is renewed in 2031, after which they may be removed.
