Uvi, a startup that feeds company knowledge to AI agents, raised $7.5 million in seed funding led by CT Innovations and joined by Cardumen, Mana VC, 91 Ventures and Gaingles VC. The round will help Uvi build a U.S. team, expand sales and continue product development. The company aims to solve the problem of AI agents starting without knowledge of the businesses they serve.

Each new AI agent is born without any company context and must learn the organization’s processes from scratch, which costs time and computing resources. Uvi’s solution is a context reasoning layer that links fragmented enterprise systems—Slack, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, code repositories and meeting notes—and builds a knowledge graph that the agent can query. By having a shared institutional memory, agents no longer need to relearn the business for every deployment.

Benchmarks show that Uvi’s approach reduces the cost per answer to between $0.10 and $0.16, compared with $0.75 to $1.41 for agents that rebuild context each time. For open‑ended questions, Uvi agents can be up to 46 times cheaper and twice as fast as their non‑Uvi counterparts.

Uvi already has customers such as Monday.com, Lemonade and Melio, and Xero acquired Melio last year.
