Unsolved Mysteries is returning as a video podcast on YouTube. The series will premiere on Oct. 29, 2026, with new episodes each Thursday. Viewers can watch on the series’ YouTube channel.

New format and launch details

The new podcast is produced by Unsolved Media and distributed through Audacy. Episodes will run over 30 minutes and will include both new and updated cases. Each episode will also feature a brief update segment on past mysteries.

The lineup of mysteries includes Amelia Earhart’s disappearance, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, and the stolen artwork from Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The series will also cover lesser‑known cases, continuing the franchise’s tradition of bringing attention to unsolved stories. Audacy’s head of podcasts, Leah Reis‑Dennis, said the platform will engage a dedicated audience. The creators hope viewers can help solve cases, echoing the original show’s appeal.

The original Unsolved Mysteries aired from 1987 to 2010 and was revived on Netflix and as an audio podcast. The new video podcast is the first return since the 2024 Netflix volume and the 2020 audio series ended.
