Ubisoft has announced that its open‑world extreme‑sports game Riders Republic will be released for the Nintendo Switch 2 on 9 December 2026, and the same day the game will support offline play so progress can be kept without an internet connection.
The game, first released in 2021, lets players bike, ski, snowboard, BMX and wingsuit across a massive playground that includes iconic American national parks such as Yosemite, Zion and Yellowstone; players can compete in pick‑up runs, trick contests or casual crew rides, and the world is updated with seasonal events and new sports.

The new offline mode, called Nomad, allows players to explore the entire open world, advance their careers, unlock landmarks and customize their characters, and when an online connection is re‑established, all offline activity is merged with the online save with no loss of progress. This feature is particularly useful for portable consoles like the Switch 2 and for situations where servers may be temporarily unavailable.
