Bandai Namco released Tales of Eternia Remastered on October 15, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a launch patch that added a Font Style option for Japanese text, allowed titles to carry over into subsequent playthroughs, and fixed several text bugs. The PC (Steam) version followed on October 16, 2026.

Font Style and Title carryover

The Font Style setting can be accessed from Menu > Custom > Font Style and works only when the game language is set to Japanese; some in‑game text cannot be changed. The change can be applied at any time during gameplay. The patch also added Title carryover for second playthroughs and beyond.

Download sizes vary by platform, from about 300 MB on Nintendo Switch to roughly 8 GB on Xbox Series X|S. The launch also introduced new merchandise featuring a staff illustration from Production I.G., available through November 1 at the Asobi Store in Japan. Save data from the Switch version is not compatible with the Switch 2 version, preventing progress transfer between the two.
