Steam Demo for Quiet Express: Cabin 909 Released

Japanese indie studio STUDIO909 has released a Steam demo for its upcoming mystery adventure Quiet Express: Cabin 909. The demo was unveiled with a new trailer during The Mix Fall Showcase 2026 and is now available on Steam. The game, led by director Kazuhide Oka, draws on the atmospheres of Blue Prince and Road 96 and follows a passenger who wakes each week aboard a train doomed to crash.

The demo lets players explore seven days of the train’s loop before the fatal derailment on the final day. Each time the character dies, the train resets to its departure and the player can change which cabins appear behind doors, shaping the layout and unlocking new areas. Along the way the player meets giants, homunculi and half‑human passengers, solves puzzles, and searches for the impossible Cabin 909 in order to stop the train from burning at the end.
