Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Switch 2

Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is now on Nintendo Switch 2. Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics announced the release on October 22. The game is available through the Nintendo eShop for $39.99, with a 10% launch discount that reduces the price to $35.99 until November 4, 2026. An official launch trailer shows Lara’s journey through jungles, ancient ruins, and tombs.

Full DLC and co‑op included

The edition includes the base game plus all seven downloadable content (DLC) challenge tombs, side missions, weapons, outfits, and skills. It also offers two‑player online co‑op. Aspyr has packaged the three titles of the Survivor Trilogy into a bundle called the Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy. The bundle contains Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, each with their full DLC and online modes, and is priced at $69.99 with a launch discount.

In the story, Lara Croft races to stop a Mayan apocalypse. She travels through treacherous jungles, underwater passages, ancient temples, and the legendary Incan city of Paititi. Players combine stealth, exploration, puzzle‑solving, and survival combat to confront the secretive organization Trinity. Players can use the jungle to conceal Lara, gather resources, and craft equipment.

Switch 2 players can experience the games in handheld, tabletop, or TV mode. Online multiplayer requires an internet connection and a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics posted launch trailers for both the single title and the Trilogy, showcasing the gameplay and narrative. The release completes the Survivor Trilogy on Nintendo’s newest hardware.
