Season 3 Rings of Power trailer shows Sauron forging Ring

The first full preview shows Sauron, played by Charlie Vickers, standing before the erupting fires of Mount Doom as he forges the One Ring, while the Balrog, voiced by Simon Pegg, clashes with him and Gandalf battles a Nazgnagôl.

Season 3 opens with four episodes on Wednesday, November 11, then releases two episodes on each of the following Wednesdays, November 18 and November 25, for a total of eight episodes.

The official synopsis says five years after the fall of Eregion, Sauron’s armies have swept across Middle‑earth, leaving only Khazad‑dûm and the elven realms of Lindon and Rivendell as pockets of resistance. In his newly completed tower of Barad‑dûr, he works day and night to forge the One Ring that will bring all his enemies to their knees.

The season keeps the familiar core cast—Morfydd Clark as Galadriel, Robert Aramayo as Elrond, Daniel Weyman as Gandalf and Owain Arthur as Durin IV—while adding Jamie Campbell Bower as Celeborn, Zubin Varla as Khamûl, Eddie Marsan as Thrain, Andrew Richardson as Anarion, Adam Young as Marnûkh, and a voice for the Balrog from Simon Pegg.
