On October 16, 2026, NVIDIA staged launch events for its new RTX Spark laptops in six cities around the world. In Berlin the event ran from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Alexanderplatz 3, where founder and CEO Jensen Huang surprised attendees, handed out popcorn, posed for selfies and personally signed five laptops. Other venues included Best Buy in San Francisco, JD Mall in Beijing, Vatan Bilgisayar in Istanbul, COEX East Lobby in Seoul and Muse Garden in Taipei, each offering hands‑on demos, creator programming and a registration system suited to the local market.
Product lineup and pricing
The launch coincided with the global availability of the RTX Spark line from partners such as ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI. The lineup includes the ASUS ProArt P14 and P16, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook Ultra and X 14, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra and MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+. Pricing is reported as starting at $2,599 in the initial release, while NVIDIA’s event recap lists a starting price of $2,399, with regional variations.
The SoC powering the laptops, officially named RTX Spark N1X, is the consumer‑facing form of NVIDIA’s GB10 chip. GB10 is a two‑chiplet design combining a MediaTek CPU die and an NVIDIA GPU die, both built on a 3 nm process. The CPU die hosts 10 performance cores and 10 efficiency cores in two clusters, each with a 16‑megabyte L3 cache. The GPU die contains a 48‑SM Blackwell configuration with 6,144 CUDA cores, matching the hardware of a GeForce RTX 5070 but with less memory bandwidth. The SoC is used in Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Ultra, a Windows device that signals the start of NVIDIA’s push into the Windows ecosystem, alongside other partner laptops and a Surface RTX Spark Dev Box mini‑PC.
