Two pallets of Zotac RTX 5090 GPUs vanished at Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo, Brazil, leaving a large shipment of high‑value hardware unaccounted for.

Odereço, an electronics distributor with more than 38 years of experience, demanded answers and publicly addressed the situation on Instagram after failing to receive an official response.

The missing shipment, valued at about R$2.5 million (US$470,000) at cost price, contains dozens of cards, but the exact number remains unknown.

NVIDIA’s senior VP Jeff Fisher said the RTX 5090 is not discontinued and will continue shipping, attributing shortages to supply constraints.

The GPU has become difficult to find in retail channels, and some retailers have pulled it from shelves, prompting speculation about production decisions.
