Readily, a San Francisco‑based AI compliance platform, announced it has secured $11 million in its Series A round, bringing its total funding to $12 million. The money will help the company expand services that help health plans and other organizations keep up with federal and state regulatory changes.
How the platform turns rules into action: the system scans new regulations and state guidance, maps them against a plan’s policies and workflows, and turns each change into a clear action item. It identifies what changed, which documents and departments are affected, who must fix it, and what evidence shows the fix is complete.
The Series A round was led by Define Ventures, with participation from Y Combinator and the California Health Care Foundation Innovation Fund. Readily currently operates in 46 states across Medicare, Medicaid and the commercial market.
Funding will power expansion and new features: the company will use the money to reach more plans and build the next layer of its product. This layer will help leaders see the full compliance chain—how an unresolved issue touches contracts, departments, processes and members—and know who owns the response.
In context, annual payer compliance spending is estimated at about $8 million, and federal fines against Medicare Advantage and Part D insurers have surged in early 2025. Readily’s vision is to create an AI‑native operating system for government healthcare, making compliance the entry point that connects obligations, owners and evidence across an organization.
