Pocketpair has announced that Palworld will receive a new update called Side by Side, slated for release in winter 2026. The update will appear on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
Poll results reveal top characters
Players voted in the Palworld Global Popularity Poll 2026 to decide which monsters and human characters fans liked most. Sekhmet topped the monster list with 49,637 votes, while Zoe led the human rankings with 133,221 votes. The poll also named Solenne and Chillet among the top three monster choices and Auri and Saya among the top three human choices.
The company has also teased a range of expansions beyond the update, including Palworld Mobile and an online version titled Palworld Online that will support mobile, four‑player co‑op and up to 32‑player servers. Garena’s online launch will let players explore a vast ecosystem, gather creatures, build shared settlements, and engage in cooperative or competitive play.
