NVIDIA has announced minority investments in four French AI startups—Doctolib, Entalpic, Genesis AI and Pigment—an advance that brings the company’s total European tech commitment to close to €9 billion.

The announcement was made at a reception in Paris’s Place Vendôme, where NVIDIA’s president Jensen Huang spoke to French Economy Minister Roland Lescure and other technology leaders about launching a new AI revolution in Europe.

Doctolib is a health‑tech unicorn that builds digital health companions and AI agents to streamline care; Entalpic uses atomic‑scale modeling to accelerate material discovery for semiconductors; Genesis AI develops general‑purpose robots powered by foundational AI models; and Pigment offers an enterprise platform for business planning and scenario modelling.

These new stakes follow NVIDIA’s earlier investments in European startups such as Alice&Bob, Gradium and Scintil Photonics, showing the company’s growing focus on a diverse set of AI‑driven businesses.

France’s rise as a leading hub for AI companies is highlighted by events like the 2025 AI Action Summit and the 2025–2026 Choose France Summits, which have attracted significant compute resources to the country.

NVIDIA’s own Nemotron models are already deployed across French organisations that need sovereign, trustworthy data, while French AI startup Mistral has released a new large‑language model under private preview.

With NVIDIA’s backing, the four French startups gain immediate access to a broader investor network and potential partners, accelerating the move from AI ambition to real‑world application.
