Nintendo Switch Online adds three classic Game Boy titles

On Oct. 27 2026, the Nintendo Switch Online service will add three classic Game Boy titles to its library. Members who hold a standard subscription will be able to download and play Avenging Spirit, Mole Mania and Revenge of the ‘Gator without needing the premium Expansion Pack tier.

Avenging Spirit: Ghost‑powered Revenge

Avenging Spirit is a 1980s action game that lets the player control a ghost‑possessed protagonist who seeks revenge after being killed by a syndicate. The story follows him as he navigates six stages to rescue his girlfriend and restore peace, with a moving ending that ties the narrative together.

Mole Mania brings puzzle‑driven gameplay to the handheld, placing the player in the shoes of Muddy Mole as he attempts to outwit the farmer Jinbe. Players push, pull or throw black balls to clear enemies, solve puzzles and progress through levels, while a two‑player VS mode pits two friends against one another for the most cabbages dropped.

Revenge of the ‘Gator is a classic pin‑ball‑style arcade game where players hit a falling ball with flippers to score points across four main and three bonus stages. Each level offers unique objectives, and players must avoid sending the ball down the Gator Stage, which ends the turn. The game supports solo, two‑player and match play modes, and offers a leaderboard for high scores.
