Nintendo President Says Rockstar Must Decide on GTA 6 for Switch 2

Devon Pritchard leads Nintendo of America as its president. She recently answered questions regarding a popular new video game.

The question was about Grand Theft Auto 6 on the Switch 2 system. She did not promise the title would appear there soon.

Pritchard said the choice belongs to the game makers and owners. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive must discuss it first.

Nintendo focuses on games for all ages during this time. Their president stated they welcome players from five up to ninety-five years old.

This strategy means mixing different types of software for fun. One example is a remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

A new sports title also arrives on the same hardware platform. Nintendo Switch Sports Resort launches before the holiday season begins.

There is still no version of older Rockstar titles on the device. Grand Theft Auto 5 has not arrived there yet according to fans.

Opinions vary on if the hardware can run the new title. Some say modern tools might help while others doubt it.

Other major publishers are already working with Nintendo for their platforms. Call of Duty and Cyberpunk titles have joined the library without delay.

The game releases this November on other major home consoles. It remains unclear if it will follow them to Nintendo hardware.
