MR. RECORDS, the rhythm adventure from Wired Productions and Glee‑Cheese Studio, has updated its Steam demo with a Music Level Editor. The update, released ahead of Steam Next Fest, lets players build and play custom rhythm stages right from the demo. On PC, the editor supports importing personal music files and sharing finished levels with other players, while all other platforms will receive the editor in the full game but cannot import personal tracks.
Editor Features Overview
The editor lets designers place notes, obstacles, and visual effects along a music timeline, then jump straight into play to test and tweak the level. Players can also customize assets, colors, animations, and backgrounds, syncing movement and visual cues to the beat. Importing and sharing are PC‑only, but the editor itself will ship with every version of MR. RECORDS, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
Beyond the editor, MR. RECORDS follows George, an older dreamer who opens a record shop and turns each vinyl into a playable rhythm adventure. The full game will contain over 40 handcrafted levels and an original soundtrack that spans funk, progressive rock, hip‑hop, electronic, world music, and ’80s pop. While the full release date remains unannounced, the demo now offers a glimpse into George’s memories and the creative tools that players can use to build their own musical worlds.
