Microsoft and IGN are teaming up for a showcase event on Tuesday, October 20th. This marks the return of the ID@Xbox Showcase to collaborate with IGN again. The presentation will focus on new and upcoming games for Xbox and PC platforms.
Reports differ on the exact number of titles featured in the lineup. One source states the showcase will highlight twenty indie games. Another account suggests eighteen games will appear in the showcase instead.
Both reports confirm specific titles are part of the event presentations. The Wolf Among Us Remastered is a featured game in the lineup. Titles from publisher Critical Reflex will also share news at the showcase.
Details about The Wolf Among Us Remastered include its upcoming release window. The game launches on October 29th for current and previous-gen consoles. A version for PS4 is not included in the launch.
Another confirmed project involves Militsioner from Critical Reflex Games. This title was previously showcased last June as an immersive sim. It features a premise where a giant policeman roams a world based on Kafka-esque themes.
The event is expected to include world premieres and gameplay alongside trailers. Live viewing times are listed for regions including North America, Europe, and Asia. Organisers typically include Xbox Game Pass announcements during the showcase.
