Lazy_Duck built a basic controller by soldering components onto a protoboard. The board hosts an RP2040‑Zero microcontroller, a joystick, a few buttons, and a microswitch.

The GP2040‑CE firmware turns the device into a standard gamepad and serves a web page for configuration. It takes advantage of the dual‑core RP2040, and its modular design lets users add features such as OLED displays, RGB LEDs, or custom button caps printed with a resin printer.
