Loony Laps, a solo‑developed arcade toy car racer, will arrive on Meta Quest on December 15. The 29‑track game, created by Paulo Cunha, is available for pre‑order now and is priced at $12.99. The title promises the charm of die‑cast racing in a virtual playground.

Modes, Tracks, and Customization. The game offers three play modes: Championship, Quick Race, and Time Trial. Players race in a miniature environment that can be customized with paint, wheels, and other cosmetics, and the tracks feature loops, jumps, magnetic hazards, and mobile obstacles.

Mixed reality and VR are both supported, letting players race inside a dedicated virtual world or see the wacky tracks overlaid on their own space. Its short, replayable arcade sessions aim to keep players laughing and engaged.

Platform Expansion and Pre‑orders. Initially targeting only Quest 3 and 3S, the developer has expanded the release to include Quest 2, Quest Pro, and the newer 3S models. The game launches on December 15, and pre‑orders are open now, giving early buyers access before the holiday rush.
