Limited‑time Demo of Hela: of Mice & Magic Now Available on PC and Steam Deck

Knights Peak and Windup Games have released a limited‑time demo of their upcoming adventure game Hela: of Mice & Magic. The demo is available on PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Xbox PC app, and it works on the Steam Deck, giving players a short taste of the title before its full launch.

The demo supports solo play and local split‑screen co‑op. It also includes the Shade System, which lets a single player summon copies of their mouse to help solve puzzles, and a magical Froggy backpack that lets players reach higher places. The custom map in the demo is inspired by northern Sweden and features physics‑based environmental puzzles.

The full game will release digitally and with a physical Harmony Edition on December 1, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. PC digital releases will arrive on the same day, and the title will be on Xbox Game Pass from launch.

In Hela: of Mice & Magic, a small mouse helps a witch who has protected the land for generations. Players gather ingredients, use a recipe book to brew potions, and create Remedies that unlock new ways to solve puzzles and open paths. The game supports up to four players in local and online co‑op when it launches.
