Intel announced its upcoming Razor Lake‑AX System‑on‑Chip at the Semiconductors Powering Humanoids summit in Seoul. The platform is expected to deliver 700 TOPS of AI compute at INT8/FP8 precision, nearly 3.88 times the 180 TOPS of the current Panther Lake mobile chips.

The integrated GPU will be offered in two variants, a 16‑core iGPU and a flagship 32‑core iGPU, both based on Intel’s Xe3 graphics IP that also powers Panther Lake. The GPU die alone measures about 162.84 mm².

On‑Package Memory Returns

Intel plans to bring back on‑package memory for Razor Lake‑AX, returning the memory‑on‑package (MoP) concept that appeared on Lunar Lake. The new chip will host LPDDR5X/LPDDR6 modules directly on the package.

The chip is aimed at premium devices and the Physical AI market, where it will outperform NVIDIA’s Jetson AGX Orin, which offers 275 TOPS. It is slated to ship in 2028, following the earlier Nova Lake platform that will arrive in 2027.
