Iambic Therapeutics priced 9.37 million shares at $16 each, the midpoint of its announced range, and the shares began trading on Nasdaq under the symbol IAM. The $150 million IPO will fund the company’s AI‑driven drug discovery platform, which blends artificial‑intelligence models with automated high‑throughput experiments. As each experiment runs, the platform learns and refines its predictions, a process the company calls “molecular superintelligence.” The goal is to reduce the cost, time, and uncertainty that have long slowed drug development, according to Iambic’s filing.
Iambic’s first clinical program, IAM1363, targets the HER2 protein that drives certain breast and gastric cancers. The oral small‑molecule is designed to bind multiple HER2 variants, cross the blood–brain barrier and treat brain metastases—areas currently hard to reach with existing antibodies or small molecules. Early data suggest it may also overcome resistance and lower dose‑limiting toxicity. The company is also moving IAM1364 into Phase 1/1b for HER2‑altered solid tumours, while IAM217, a KIF18A inhibitor, and IAM‑C1, a dual CDK2/4 blocker, head toward clinical trials. Strategic partners such as AbbVie, Bayer, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Lundbeck, Revolution Medicines and Takeda have already paid collaboration fees, helping support the pipeline.
