God of War Laufey Collector Box Pre-orders Open Without Game Copy

Fans can now pre-order the God of War Laufey Collector Box starting October 13, 2026, at 10:00 am local time. It is scheduled to release on February 16, 2027, alongside other editions of the PlayStation 5 action-adventure title. The recommended retail price is listed as $149.99 USD in the United States, €149.99 in Europe, and £129.99 in the UK.

A notable condition for the Collector Box is that it does not include a physical copy of the game or a digital download code. This requirement is stated on the box itself, which reads God of War Laufey game sold separately. Gamers must purchase the Standard or Digital Deluxe Edition to play the title developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

The package features a light-up resin statue of Faye, designed to capture her lethal agility in action. According to reports, the statue may also include her companions Phranque and Rue alongside her figure. It is accompanied by a 51-card Oracle Deck with bespoke illustrations and a Mini Artbook curated by the development team.

The Collector Box has appeared in European PlayStation stores, though availability varies by territory at this time. This approach mirrors recent trends seen with other titles like GTA 6, where physical copies remain available despite the collector edition omitting the game. Industry observers suggest this allows players who already own the title to avoid buying a game twice.
