Square Enix says the Evercold expansion is tentatively scheduled to launch on 23 February 2027. Early access is set to begin on 19 February, and pre-orders open on 4 November 2026.
The keynote revealed Zephyr, a crossbow-using ranged DPS that starts at level 90 and unlocks in Gridania. It is the second of two new jobs for Evercold.
Raid and crossover details
New raid content includes Beyond the Lifestream, a crossover with Final Fantasy VII Remake, and an Evangelion collaboration called Ghosts of Desire. The keynote also showed high-difficulty eight-player encounters with reworked bosses from alliance raids.
Evercold will also bring an Evolved Combat Mode, a Seasons reward system, expanded character creation and a gear optimisation system that reflects item levels across jobs. Pre-order bonuses include Halone’s Earring, a Wind-Up Köttr minion and early-launch access.
The Digital Collector’s Edition includes the Valhallar Odin mount, Entreat Crystal emote and Crystal Skyltborg: Bastion weapon. The physical Collector’s Box adds an art box with an illustration by Yoshitaka Amano, a Warrior of Light Reaper figure, an Ethos metal keychain, a Köttr mini plush and a tapestry of the Fourth.
