Fiat has presented the Multiplay concept at a Stellantis event ahead of the 2026 Paris Motor Show. This reveal is part of a group effort that included six other study vehicles from brands like Peugeot and Citroën. The event took place on 11 October 2026, just one day before the main show begins.

The four-point-four-five-meter-long vehicle combines features of a family car with those of a pickup truck. It uses a special C-pillar architecture to change the layout from a six-seat interior into a four-seat cargo space. A sliding rear module allows owners to switch between passenger comfort and open storage.

Inside, the design includes a flexible Petsenger seat that can hold a child or serve as a pet area. The front passenger seat transforms into a Sunseat for relaxation when the vehicle is parked. Pet-friendly features like a detachable leash cushion are built into the cabin.

Bright green bodywork and colorful interior shades reflect an Italian summer theme. Technology is integrated into the dashboard so screens remain hidden when not in use. Materials such as monomaterial textiles aim to simplify manufacturing and reduce waste.

The concept aligns with Stellantis FaSTLAne 2030 strategic plan for future growth. Emanuele Cappellano, the Chief Operating Officer, stated the group aims to widen market coverage in Europe significantly by 2030. Other revealed vehicles include a Citroën model priced at €15,000 and an Alfa Romeo hybrid.

FIAT emphasizes that the Multiplay is a research project rather than a confirmed production model. No timeline, battery range, or pricing has been announced for the concept. It serves to explore practical solutions that could influence future vehicles from the brand.
