Gamers have uncovered a way to play an old title in a new way. Someone managed to find secrets buried inside the game code for years.
A Japanese user named BTEST4HE shared this discovery online last October. They solved a puzzle that fans thought was impossible to fix on their own.
The codes allow access to items called Gold Parts which are special sets. These parts include Dark Schneider gear and custom pieces for the vehicles.
In 2003, these rare items were only available at events in Japan. Players needed to bring a memory card with save data to get them back then.

Those promotional meetings were limited time only and have ended long ago. Without this find, the special parts remained lost for almost twenty-five years.
Five of the commands need four controllers used at the same time. One player cannot use these codes by themselves on a single screen.
This means friends must gather to press buttons on all inputs together. It is a challenge to input the sequences with so many hands.
The methods work on the original GameCube version from the first release. They also function on modern systems including Nintendo Classics on Switch 2.
Anyone can now try to access this content using the new codes. Fans can finally own items that were once impossible to get.
