EA Sports reports Fight Night return after 15 years

EA Sports made a short announcement on X that its Fight Night series is returning after a 15‑year gap. The tweet read, “The fight is never over. To everyone who stayed in our corner: Fight Night is coming back.” No release date, gameplay footage or platform list has yet been provided.

The last mainline entry, Fight Night Champion, launched in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and introduced a story‑driven Champion Mode. The game remains available on newer Xbox consoles via backward compatibility. Fans reacted quickly to the announcement, with the X post amassing over 60,000 likes and 2 million views, and earlier rumours suggested EA had been interested in reviving the series after seeing the success of Undisputed. The franchise was largely developed by EA Vancouver and is known for its Total Punch Control system.
