EA and Bit Reactor released patch 1.2 for the single‑player, turn‑based tactics game Star Wars Zero Company. The update adds a set of campaign modifiers that let players tweak injury limits, risk of death, health progression, bond progression and other rules when starting a new campaign on any difficulty. Players can also bind the Call For Backup command to a hotkey of their choice, and the patch brings balance adjustments to weapons, crew and facility upgrades. In addition, the patch fixes a wide range of bugs that affected abilities, customization, cinematics, conversations and general gameplay. Star Wars Zero Company follows a mercenary squad led by Hawks as they hunt the Separatist‑aligned cult Infinite Coil across more than 150 planets.

The update also cuts the cost of many facility upgrades, making it easier for players to improve their base without running out of credits. Certain classes and named characters were nerfed, according to the notes, to help balance the game’s progression. Bug fixes cover softlocks, inconsistencies with targeting and Overwatch, performance issues and other technical problems. The change was rolled out to all platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, so players on any console can take advantage of the improvements. The patch demonstrates EA and Bit Reactor’s effort to address community feedback and refine the game’s core mechanics.
