The final trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three has arrived ahead of the film’s December 18 opening. Warner Bros. debuted the clip, which offers more footage from the epic conclusion. It picks up where Part Two left off.
Villeneuve has said the film is about a separation and a divorce, and about the betrayal Chani felt from Paul. The trailer points to the emotional conflict that will carry into the final chapter.

Timothée Chalamet plays Paul and Zendaya returns as Chani. The film also features Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Anya Taylor‑Joy, Javier Bardem, Robert Pattinson and Josh Brolin. The returning stars helped the first two films reach a mainstream audience.
Tickets are on sale, and many viewers are expected to book 70mm IMAX seats. It is the first film since The Odyssey to be released in the format, though only a good chunk of it will be in 70mm IMAX.
Legendary Pictures first acquired the rights to the Dune books in 2016, and Villeneuve was hired to direct the first film in February 2017. Dune: Part Three closes a production that has run for more than a decade.
