Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen has landed on Nintendo Switch 2. Fans can watch a video comparing it to the PlayStation version now.

This check comes from the YouTube channel known as ElAnalistaDeBits. It tests how the game runs on different hardware setups today.

Screen size changes based on how you hold or dock the device. Handheld mode shows an upscaled picture at 1080p resolution.

Docked mode raises that number to 1440p for a sharper view. The PlayStation 5 side runs its game at 4K resolution instead.

Speed usually stays near 40 frames per second during play. A setting called frame generation creates extra images to speed up the flow.

This option makes the action feel like it hits 60 frames per second. Visuals suffer some changes like shorter draw distance and softer textures.

Loading times also grow longer on this specific platform version. Yet reviewers call it a much smoother experience than the old launch.

New content arrives with the Dark Arisen expansion pack included free. You can find new tales in a snowy area named Forsaken Dominion.

A character creator update is available to download from the eShop shop. Buyers get the full game at stores or online via Nintendo account.
