Bandai Namco announced a free update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 that goes live on October 27, 2026. The update is part of the game's 10th anniversary celebration and launches the Final Festival of Universes on October 30.

During the festival, hard-to-find items return, and players can raise camaraderie with companions such as Trunks, the Supreme Kai of Time, or Fu. Raising camaraderie unlocks special illustrations.

Players will also earn 25 times more Star Coins during the festival, making it easier to exchange them for rewards. The event can also grant a new Gi made for the occasion, along with a commemorative medal.

The free update adds new Login Bonus Rewards, special costumes, and an update to the Gallery of Time, which can be unlocked by purchasing the DLC Future Saga Chapter 4.

Owners of the special items can link their Bandai Namco ID to unlock matching items in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 once that game becomes available in 2027.
