Dave the Diver Sets Date for Final Subnautica 2 Crossover Expansion

Mintrocket has declared that their last content wave for Dave the Diver is ready to launch.

This final expansion marks the end of scheduled updates for the title.

The new pack is a full crossover with the game Subnautica 2.

It involves the two developer teams working together on this release.

Players can expect the update to arrive during early 2027.

Both the developer studio and the partner have confirmed this timeline for the free expansion.

In the story mode, Dave and Bancho will travel through a mysterious portal.

They leave their usual home to visit an alien ocean moon instead.

The new area is called Proteus and holds strange creatures not seen before.

Players will find valuable resources there while they explore the deep water.

Some of the wildlife in this region includes dangerous predators known as Leviathans.

Characters must face these threats during their underwater journey.
