Actor Connor Storrie has been reported to be in discussions to star opposite Ryan Gosling in Shawn Levy’s upcoming Marvel film Ghost Rider, which was announced at San Diego Comic-Con this summer with Gosling starring.
Storrie, who first drew attention with the hockey drama Heated Rivalry, had been waiting tables before securing roles in three films this year, including The Bell Jar, Turpentine and Peaked.
The film will be shot on 35mm and 65mm film stock, with acclaimed cinematographer Linus Sandgren hired to bring a new visual style. Sandgren is known for his preference for celluloid and has worked on La La Land, Saltburn, Babylon and No Time to Die.
The script is being written by Jonathan Tropper, who worked with Gosling and Levy on Star Wars: Starfighter, and the idea for Ghost Rider grew from that collaboration.
