Clueso announced a $10 million Series A funding round today with Dharana Capital leading the investment. The company states it has raised over $12 million in total since starting its operations. This capital will support plans to grow its team and expand product capabilities into new formats.

Agencies quoted $6,000 per video while production took two weeks to complete manually. They built this tool to solve the friction of making slick product videos for tutorials and marketing purposes.

Clueso uses autonomous AI agents that navigate real software interfaces to capture footage during use. Agents write scripts and generate voiceovers while following the brand’s messaging requirements for specific products. A feature called Clueprints allows the agents to update video content automatically when product changes occur.

Over 1,000 businesses use the platform including Zendesk Inc. and Atlassian. A manager at Zendesk claims to have seen productivity gains of more than five times with an 80 percent reduction in costs. The Next Web notes these results are customer claims that remain independently unverified.

More than 80 percent of the new money came from existing investors increasing their stakes. New backers include Founders Future which was founded in Paris by Marc Menasé. Dharana Capital is an India-focused firm backed by US university endowments, while Y Combinator and f7 Ventures are returning participants.

Clueso plans to grow its team from 35 employees to 50 by the end of the year. The founders want agents to handle production work while humans make creative decisions. Expansion will include interactive product demos and documentation creation tools.
