Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA announced its 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship lineup, bringing in Antonio Felix da Costa and Ricky Taylor while confirming the departures of Alex Lynn and Sébastien Bourdais. Da Costa and Taylor will join the existing core of Jack Aitken, Earl Bamber, Norman Nato and Will Stevens in the Cadillac V‑Series.R. The move is part of Cadillac’s plan to strengthen its Hypercar effort and build on the progress the team has made over recent seasons.

New drivers bring experience

Da Costa returns to JOTA after spending the current season with Alpine’s Hypercar programme. He previously raced for JOTA in LMP2, winning a championship and a Le Mans class victory in 2022. He will miss the 6 Hours of São Paulo because a Formula E round in Shanghai conflicts with the schedule. Taylor, an IMSA GTP regular with 32 victories and 76 podiums, will add a full‑time Hypercar campaign to his expected IMSA season with Wayne Taylor Racing. The pair’s experience is expected to give Cadillac a strong foundation for the 2027 campaign.

Alex Lynn is leaving the team to join McLaren’s new Hypercar programme set to debut in 2027, while Sébastien Bourdais will depart after delivering multiple podium finishes over two seasons with JOTA. Lynn’s record includes four WEC pole positions, including the Le Mans pole, the first overall podium at Le Mans, the first overall WEC win and two overall Sebring 12‑hour wins. The lineup changes are intended to keep the same drivers across Cadillac Racing’s V‑Series.R entries in IMSA and WEC, aiding car development and team chemistry for the next season.
