BYD presented its new modular widescreen interface, the Giant Screen UI, for the third‑generation Tang EV that will arrive in China in Q4 2026. The system lets drivers mix, resize, and tile windows for navigation, media and vehicle data, while an animated AI companion named Xiao Mianbao greets and reacts to occupants using voice and visual cues.

The cabin features a 35.4‑inch remote display beneath the windshield and a 30‑inch panoramic touchscreen that spans the centre and passenger zones. The upper screen shows driving metrics, status and navigation, replacing the traditional instrument cluster and head‑up display with a fixed layout that differs from earlier BYD models that used a rotating central screen.
The Tang EV is 5,045 mm long, 1,980 mm wide and 1,760 mm high, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. It offers more than 1,000 mm of rear legroom and seatbacks that recline 130°. Powered by BYD’s Blade Battery and a 300‑kW motor, the vehicle supports Flash Charging (10‑70% in about five minutes) and has CLTC ranges up to 850 km.
