Bond’s New Game Set for March 2027 on Switch 2

IO Interactive has announced that 007 First Light will arrive on Nintendo’s Switch 2 in March 2027, a date that was revealed in an IGN Fan Fest trailer. The studio has been using the extra time to polish the game’s performance on the new console, ensuring it runs smoothly on the hybrid system. Footage from the Gamescom build shows the Switch 2 version of the title in action, giving fans a preview of the improved visuals and gameplay.

The launch also includes a pre‑order bonus: an exclusive “GoldenEye Suit” for 007, a nod to the classic franchise. A free update released earlier added New Game+, a photo mode, and other improvements; all of these features will be present when the Switch 2 version launches.
