Battlefield 6 players can now access a special Dead Space themed scenario that launched today. The event, part of Season 5’s Siege of Vegas, is a non‑canon celebration of the sci‑fi horror franchise. A trailer showcases the crossover and invites players to experience the horror in the shooter’s multiplayer world. The event is live across PlayStation, Xbox and PC and is available to all Battlefield 6 owners.

Event Details

The crossover, called Convergence in the trailer, brings undead mayhem to the REDSEC mode. Players must defend key points, plant explosives, and survive waves of necromorphs that turn corpses into hostile threats. The trailer shows desolate environments slick with necromorph muck and the chilling sight of enemies with soulless eyes. The event is a new chapter for the shooter, with more on the way.

Season 5 also introduces several new features that affect multiplayer experience. DICE announced a persistent server browser that lets players stay on the same lobby between matches, and a new platoon system that offers XP bonuses for squad play. Map reworks for Blackwell Fields and New Sobek City are planned for Phase 3, while weather effects will vary by map. Other updates include jet customization slated for Season 6, and ongoing weapon balance reviews. Additional content beyond Season 5 will be revealed early next year.
