Arc System Works will bring its fighting game to PlayStation 5 in the future. They confirmed this update without sharing a specific launch date for fans.
The title BlazBlue Central Fiction first appeared in arcades during 2015. It ended the main storyline for the franchise before reaching console players later.
Players will find rollback netcode included on this new PlayStation system. This technology reduces lag by calculating moves locally instead of waiting for server data.
The update also brings cross play with PC users to the lineup. Owners can match up across different systems during competitive matches online.
Four new text languages will be available in the menu settings. This change supports more players from regions outside the original release areas.

Training modes receive improvements alongside the network updates. Fighters can practice moves to master skills without penalty during sessions.
Trinity Glassfille joins the roster as a downloadable character add-on. This figure is confirmed for PlayStation 4 and PC versions first.
The new PS5 version might launch at a different time than the DLC. Reports suggest the two updates may not arrive together on all platforms.
Existing owners of the PlayStation 4 game may receive access without extra cost. The developer hinted this is a free upgrade but details remain pending.
Currently, the title runs on PlayStation 3, Switch, and Steam for Windows. Arcade locations also hosted the original launch more than a decade ago.
