Apple unveiled its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, on October 23. The new model starts at $1,999 and can go up to $3,199. Alongside the launch, Apple published a series of repair guides that cover issues with the hinge, Touch ID, and the display. The manuals also include safety instructions for working with broken glass and battery replacements, and list the parts that can be replaced, such as the back glass, cameras, battery, logic board and speakers.

Apple lists repair prices on its service page. For example, damage to the cover layer costs $49, or $19 with AppleCare+. Back glass damage is $199, or $25 with AppleCare+. Inner display damage is $999, or $99 with AppleCare+. The most expensive repair is “other damage,” which can reach $1,499, or $149 if you have AppleCare+.

Discounts and Accessories

Carriers are offering discounts to sweeten the deal. AT&T can give up to $1,200 off an iPhone Duo if you trade in a qualifying plan, while T‑Mobile offers up to $1,000 off. Accessories are also discounted; ZAGG offers 20% off when you buy two items, such as a case and a screen protector. Other retailers like Amazon, Best Buy and Target have case discounts.
