Antonblast releases for PlayStation consoles on October 15

Joystick Ventures and Summitsphere confirmed that Antonblast will release for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on October 15, 2026. The announcement states this launch brings the game to Sony consoles following its time on other platforms. This date marks the entry of the title into the current generation of hardware.

Antonblast centers on a protagonist named Anton who wants to get back his stolen Spirit collection from Satan. Players can play as Dynamite Anton or Annie when they explore levels filled with explosions. The game features a premise where Anton seeks reckoning against the devil for taking his spirits.

Gameplay involves using a Mighty F'n Hammer to destroy environments and battle large bosses. A character named Brulo, a disgraced casino owner, helps Anton with his own beef against Satan. Each level requires players to set detonators, find spirits, and escape before Happy Hour ends.

The game first appeared on PC via Steam on December 3, 2024, according to the publisher details. A Switch version became available later in December 13, 2024. The new console release follows these initial launches for other systems.

Summitsphere founder Tony Grayson described the move to PlayStation as a big full circle moment for him. He stated that the original PlayStation raised him through his childhood years. Grayson expressed excitement about supporting the PlayStation ecosystem for many years to come.
